The Shelf Biscuit is designed to save the installer time and money. Tile the walls and then install the seat or shelf. The Shelf Biscuit can be used to install a shelf/sear on an existing tub/shower or in new construction. The biscuit cuts can be made in the center of the tile. It does not have to be on a grout line.

Before starting, make sure the walls are square. If the walls are not square, scribe the seat or shelf to the walls. Trim the sear or shelf on your wet saw.

The epoxy is a 2-part epoxy 1:1 mix. Once the 2 parts are mixed together you have 4-6 minutes to apply to the biscuit cuts in the sear/shelf and walls. The epoxy sets within 12 minutes and is cured in 25 minutes.

When cutting into a marble shelf/seat, go slow with the cut. Marble is soft and brittle. When installing a shelf/sear on glass tile, make the biscuit cut on a group line.
